ARC BX2 Industrial Wear Resistant Coating is a modified epoxy trowel-grade Coating.

It’s reinforced for fine particle, abrasive sliding wear environments.

This is a 100% solids, VOC free single coat application. ARC BX2 is formulated with a high concentration of small ceramic beads and particles for extremely abrasive environments where metal loss is often repaired by more conventional and costly weld overlay.

This Industrial Wear Resistant Coating can be used to rebuild eroded metal surfaces or to protect and extend the operating life of equipment and structures that are exposed to fine particle wear. It frequently outperforms the original metal, rubber liners, ceramic tiles or weld overlay. This technology consists of a chemically resistant polymer matrix which covers a broad range of chemical exposures.

ARC BX2 is a long lasting wearing surface and is chosen over ARC BX1 where a thinner, more easily applied Abrasion Resistant Lining is required. It provides outstanding protection against erosion, corrosion and chemical attack.

ARC BX2 Industrial Wear Resistant Coating is designed to:

  • Protect areas exposed to moderate sliding abrasion
  • Resurface damaged metal in lieu of more traditional weld overlays
  • Replace ceramic tiles and rubber linings which can more easily disbond
  • Safely and easily apply by trowel
