ARC BX1 Coarse Abrasion Resistant Lining

ARC BX1 Coarse Abrasion Resistant Lining is a modified epoxy trowel-grade coating.

It is specifically formulated for coarse-particle, severely abrasive, sliding wear environments.

This is a 100% solids, high build – single coat application that delivers a high adhesive strength, allowing for vertical build capability to most substrates. This abrasion resistant lining is a VOC free coating which is reinforced with a proprietary blend of ceramic beads and powders for the repair and protection of all metal surfaces subjected to severe abrasion and impact. It provides long-term abrasion resistance, extending the operating life of equipment and it also lowers the coefficient of thermal expansion.

ARC BX1 Coarse Abrasion Resistant Lining additionally provides chemical resistance to a broad range of chemical exposures.

It’s a no VOCs, no free isocyanates application, allowing it to be applied safely in confined areas.

ARC BX1 Coarse Abrasion Resistant Lining is designed to:

  • Protect areas exposed to sliding abrasion
  • Resurface damaged metal in lieu of more traditional weld overlays
  • Replace ceramic tiles and rubber linings, which can disbond easily
  • Safely and easily apply by trowel

ARC BX1 Coarse Abrasion Resistant Lining application areas include:

  • Bins and silos
  • Blow lines
  • Pipe elbows
  • Apex cones
  • Hydropulpers
  • Exhausters
  • Slurry pumps
  • Chutes
  • Transport screws
  • Wear plates
  • Cyclones
  • Pneumatic transport lines
