Bristle Blaster Deployed For West Wales Bridge Project

With a span of just over half a mile, the Cleddau Road Bridge in West Wales, UK is the most recent location of the Bristle Blaster application.
The bristle blasting technology was the ideal solution as open blasting posed significant environmental issues. The full length of the H-beam was prepared using the bristle blaster on both sides of the bridge prior to a protective coating being applied.

The bristle blasting technology is also being utilised in the North Sea until October where it is being used in a major maintenance programme.
